Nutrition Specialist

Great Harvest Bread Company trains and empowers new bakery owners to operate upbeat, popular and sustainable neighborhood bakeries. Great Harvest has been recognized for the past three years as one of the most democratic workplaces in the world by WorldBlu, and nationally as an outstanding place to work by Outside Magazine (we ranked 43 out of 50 selected companies). Dillon, Montana was also recently selected as “One of America’s Prettiest Towns,” by Forbes Magazine. The company attracts employees who work and play hard, and enjoy living in a small town Montana.

People that are successful in Great Harvest are passionate, have a track record of success (success can be indicated in ways other than a job resume. Have you ever completed a marathon? Hiked across a foreign country without a guide? Overcome an obstacle in life?), like to share with others and want to help people achieve their dreams.

Great Harvest is a company with its roots in whole wheat. The nutrition specialist develops and promotes nutrition education programs and materials for franchise owners and their customers about our whole wheat and made from scratch products. They also work closely with our marketing department on all the health and nutrition messaging. Other duties include generating nutrition labels for products using the ESHA Genesis nutritional analysis program; act as the FDA label compliance authority for our system, and respond to phone and web questions from the bread buying customer. This job is located in Dillon, Montana and would require travel up to 10weeks per year.

We want people that share our values, our zest for life, our love of Montana, our confident sense of humor and our attitude of others first – me second. We also want you to have a bachelor’s degree in dietetics, with a strong preference for a Registered Dietician or registration eligible. If you want to be a part of all that is special in Great Harvest, we want to talk with you.

While we will work for bread, we also understand the need for other forms of gratification. Great Harvest offers competitive salaries, a substantial bonus plan based upon individual and collective success, a 401(k) plan, health plan, generous vacation plan and ten paid holidays per year. We also pay to your American Dietetics Association membership each year and provide opportunities for continuing education.
